Are my audio files uploaded?
No. The compressor runs locally in your browser, so your audio is not sent to NeuralSound servers.
Which preset should I choose?
Balanced is a good default. Small File reduces size more, while Best Quality keeps more audio detail.
Why is my compressed file not smaller?
Some source files are already highly compressed. Try a smaller preset, mono channels, or a lower target size.
Is target size exact?
No. The target size is an estimate because codecs, duration detection, and metadata can change the final output size.
